Well thanks to Phil, Stonepicker1, my drop side deuce bed arrived in great condition. Started with cutting out a 3' section and rewelding it back together so that the troop seats would fit when also shortend 3'. The process went quickly only because I had a friend of a friend with a service...

The black square is the fail safe warning for the air pressure and parking brake. It supplies the horn warnings and lights you see just above the steering wheel.
I'm not sure what the other plug is for perhaps the signal flasher control box ?
You are going to have to take tension off the drum before the clutch will be free enough so you can move it. That means you might have to tighten it a bit to get the slack to release the clutch. Put a bolt into the shear pin area and use a wrench ! Do not use the trucks power to do this, use a...

I would like to have my drivers wiper blade park to the right instead of the left where I end up looking through it whenever I drive (M932A1).
Is it as simple as switching the lines ? ....... Swap lines at the wiper air switch...
Phil dropped off my deuce bed. My best laid plans went out the window. Luckily Phil and his boy PJ and I were able to drag it off the back of his trailer. Not the best but it worked. Now the project begins. I will post up on the project.

I think the older deuce has one weak link; single brake system with fluid that is a pain in the a$$ to check. Put on a remote brake resevoir. Do a search lots of info on this. Enjoy and welcome to the whistler club !! :beer:
