Are market lights required to be legal?

Another thing to think about is if your rig is licensed as commercial or not. Some states allow POV's exemption to DOT commercial rules. AZ is one of them with historic vehicle plates.

    Blackest matte black

I've used that conductive paint, both Carbon- and Silver-based. It makes crowded transmitter sites easier to occupy without interference hassles. The Carbon works OK, but the Ohm/SqCm is not as low as the silver type. The last gallon of the Silver was just over $5,000, but after application...

    The new "green" trailer? JLTV-T

Looks expensive... But what isn't in the new lineup?

    AN/TRC-75 Radio Transceiver ?

The same radio running on single-phase 60Hz would be twice as big and twice as heavy. A good reason to have one of those 400Hz gensets.

    Changing tires from 9.00-20 39.5" to 12R 20 44" singles

His hubs are flipped. I'm glad to see someone else running halogen 1kW landing lights. The LED folks just can't fathom what real light output is. The kind that sets cardboard on fire in seconds...

Operation: Gertrude. Kendelrios M715 restoration thread

Years ago I got to drive a schools Dodge D600 box van with a 318 V-8 and dual exhausts. It was easy to get it to backfire by spooling it up, shutting the ignition off for a second or two, then turning it back on. Spooked more than a few girls doing that. The last (and best) time I did that...

    Blackest matte black

Out here the only thing automotive painted flat black is radiators. Otherwise your heat absorption wold be off the charts, as just seat covers can get to 160F in the 9 months of Summer.

No tach in the early gasser M35. Lots of commercial road rigs back then did have a cable-driven tach.

The gold color anodized connectorss are by Bendix, not to be confused with those by Cannon. 24 volt tacticals use them everywhere. The plug wires are incorrect, they should be shielded wires with copper-colored wire braid on them, about 1/2" in diameter. They thread into all-metal waterproof...

    Rewire an -803a or 802a for 416/240 3ph?

That would be very handy in some cases. For instance: We have a 480V 3ph 2hp submersible pump @ 700' down. It runs right at 3A per leg. Could keep away any personal drought...

    Non-opening windshields?

I gave one of those to SS member Spooky Mulder, ping him and maybe he can get you some pix. I think I still have the flat piece that holds the glass, have to check.

    Non-opening windshields?

That frame is aftermarket, part of a complete fiberglass front end. Usually with a P2000 tag on it.

    Voltage Issue With Head Lights

There are those of us that prefer Hella 7" housings and Osram 24V 70/75W H4 lamps in them. Razor sharp focus, without the diffusion all LED headlights have. In other words, they aren't "rude" to oncoming drivers.

    M37 block

I've used Nickle 88 rods for welding cast iron, had decent results there.

    Voltage Issue With Head Lights

Sounds a lot like an open ground (91) wire somewhere.
