I've had good luck with these types of lockers in Both front and rear axles in jeeps without locking hubs even as daily drivers. Never had one in a deuce though.

Or go with a 6.5 turbo diesel so you get a decently powerful Diesel engine like the 4bt, but without the adapter plates and whatnot. Of course, I'm sure you've already considered that.

Yep! If you start losing power, it's almost always time to change all three filters. Never change just one or two, always change all three.

For the small price difference, just buy an ouverson or a Detroit instead of the Yukon. Doing the job twice is not worth saving less than $100.

He is saying that advancing the timing upped the fuel pressure enough that it burst a line. Don't think he meant combustion chamber pressure did it.

I do believe you are confused about the way our brake system works. The wheel ends see fluid pressure, not air pressure bud.

Sounds like pretty decent prices to me. You can't hardly buy a good locker for a jeep axle for that.

You could just bead blast and parkerize and/ or repaint them. That should restore the thread areas as well.
