No, that is the weird thing, when we were out there checking them out you could see the AF blue was under various layers of OD/ CARC. It was really true blue semi gloss as a first coat!
David I think that your's started it's military life as a blue Air Force duce, unless I got my notes mixed-up. Plus I am pretty sure it had been re motored not too long ago. You should be able to tell from the data plate on the dash and data on left side of motor. Nice truck, good score, Dave C.
When I was active my units cook truck had the troops seats turned out like that also. They used them like shelving when they set up in the field, one side was used to dry pots and pans and store them.
Dave, got mine out there Wed, used a M101 frame to get it home. Does anyone know who the cat logo goes to?? My shelter was uses for a MRLS contact team, so maybe some arty unit? David C
Good seeing and talking with you again. Glad your trip home was hot , straight and normal. We had a smooth trip also only bummer was carrying those 100 medical cans into the barn one at a time that evening. Your buddies crane is most Kool!! Take care Dave
Dave I will be out there 11:00 Wed picking mine up along with another lot I got. If you have them put it in your truck bed you might want to pull your tailgate till it is in. David.
The rear set of tires on the 313 were really nice , fronts were good. I even think it still had fuel frame tank. I didn't look at the other trailers when I was out there. I'll be out there next week picking up a shelter. If they are still there I will try and get a better look. Did you notice...
For the oil stains use Dawn dish washing liquid and a scrub brush. Then brake open the piggy bank get has many quarters that you can put in your pockets, with out your pants falling . Then spend a few hours at the car wash.
