If it has the volume/pressure it should work OK (some pumps for heater or stove assys don't need to flow a lot of fuel). Place as close to the tank as possible 'cause electric pumps like to push better than pull. If it's for automotive apps. it should self-prime with no problem.

Mercedes benz Unimog 404s have them. They clamp onto the steering column and are driven by a cogged collar under the steering wheel hub. Shouldn't be too hard to adapt.

Oshkosh rims are a standard 10 hole Budd pattern and so will fit any hub with that setup.

One thing to ALWAYS take the time to do is to clean any rust or built up gunk off of the lock ring and out of the groove the ring seats/locks into. A little bit of junk there will allow the lock ring to ramp up out of the groove---often when you're well on your way to max inflation pressure...
