My 1-2-14 GL win, a M923A2 and recovery. I arrived at Camp Shelby at 10:45 it was 24 degrees. my son and checked the truck thoroughly then started the truck and it started right up. I had made 2 previews of the trucks so I knew what I was getting into (reason for 2 inspections is my grand kids...
Welcome to SS from LA! I don't have anything to add I think it was summed up pretty well. I love your part of the US, took a 8 hour tour through Denali Park in the late 90's and almost stayed in Alaska. Again Welcome to the madness.
Sorry Jeff,
I cannot make it. I was wanting to attend but this is the final 3 days of gun deer season so I guess I better get some venison for the next year. Son and I also have to retrieve our 4 wheelers and winterize the camp. I was looking forward to seeing everyone even Kevin.

Welcome from Covington, LA., I will be in AR on Wednesday I hunt in between Eldarado and Warren and spend a lot of time up there during hunting season.
Garrett, Thank you for offering this service! I am sure you will be busy doing pick ups. Ft. Polk is very good to deal with in my opinion, Maxine is good to work with and so is Linda they both have helped me in the past.
Her are a few pictures of my build. The hitch is made of 4x4x1/4" tubing and 5/8" hanger plate with 2 - 9/16" and 1- 3/4" grade 8 bolts holding each side.
Is the shaft with the notches square or oval opposite the notches? I have a oval one but I need a square one. I don't think you can put a cable on the end I think you need to buy the whole assembly, I know Jeff Davis would have one also. He is Csm Davis. And a super good guy, he will treat you...
I spliced into my wires back past the trailer plug whip, any auto parts have the little connectors that you can easily splice the wire into the existing wires. The 22-460 is RT,(Green). 22-461 is LT (Yellow). And the 21-489 is the running lights(Brown).
All the clamps were left on the harness and if I remember right the big group of wires went into a hole near the steering column along with the wiring to the instrument panel. Guess I should have taken pictures! Good Luck Filipe
I looked for that tie down this morning but the section of bed I cut out of a deuce bed did not have them, the only tie downs were in the tail gate on that bed. Wish I could have helped. I wish my dad could still help me but he does tag along every chance he can! Good Luck.
Good score, My buddy passed you on the interstate and he though you were me knowing I won a truck but when he passed you he said you had a thicker beard! Do you have a beard or was it someone else. Enjoy your rig, I looked at that one. My tool box was empty!
I tried the CTIS, I started the truck and let the air build to 120 then turned it off and plugged up the CTIS then restarted the truck. Aii I could get was the 5 flashing lights, I tried to press different settings but they did not do any tire adjustments. I could hear a blow off of some kind...
Awesome looking truck, I really like it. Very well done! What kind of seats are those or what were they out of? Where is Benton, I am in Covington! Enjoy that ride!
