Front tire blow out going 55 MPH on the freeway

Valve stems rot more quickly than tires in some cases. The valve cores also develop leaks for no apparent reason.

Transport of pallet sized item from hooks to anywhere near central texas

Never mind, that's a bit too far north for me to go up there and then west. Would have liked to help.

    Uses for Deuces

I sold my jeep Cherokee three days after I got my deuce home. It is now my daily driver, which is funny because it actually gets better fuel mileage.

    LDT465D Breather Excessive Oil

Of course, worn/ broken rings, or a piston that all the rings have had the gaps lined up on will cause it too. Only seen that happen once.

    LDT465D Breather Excessive Oil

Ccv tower= crank case vent tower. Probably not the proper name for it but that's what I call it. The part that joins both of the valve covers together on top and routes the vapor from both into the slobber tube. There should also be shields inside the valve covers that keep oil from splashing...

    LDT465D Breather Excessive Oil

Pull the valve covers and clean out all the buildup and gunk, also clean the ccv tower and hose out. If that doesn't do it then you have ring/ cylinder issues.

M109 She Beast is down - Fuel System Failure

Filter can was half empty because there was no fuel coming from the tank pump to fill the void. Did you check the fuse on top of the pump?

M109 She Beast is down - Fuel System Failure

Replace that in tank pump. Or put an air fitting on the tank so you can use air pressure from the truck or another truck to prime the fuel system when it leaks down like that.

    Chrysler Defense HMMWV Prototype

I would have it in a nitrogen purged glass enclosure, but I suppose there is no fun in that.

    Chrysler Defense HMMWV Prototype

All I have to say is watch out for the uninsured motorists. There are ( obviously) no replacement body parts, much less a whole replacement vehicle for what you have. I would equate driving that around town to taking the Spruce Goose out for a spin. A heartache waiting to happen. Can you put a...

    Giving up on M135.........

Been following this thread closely and am so glad to hear that you got her fixed and on the road again! Take care of that truck. I'm sure it is so important to your father because that is the last thing he was able to share with you before he got down in health. Don't ever get rid of it, you...

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

That's what I said... Maybe I need to be more clear... Lol

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

Ideally you would remove the line at the transmission and blow air from there out. That is what is intended.
