Universal joints can get bound if the driveshaft gets to great an angle at the yoke.

Check that all the lug nuts (inner & outter) are tight. These tires will 'flat spot' from sitting, so sometimes the farther ya drive the smoother it gets. Also check air pressures and that all the driveshafts are tight and in time with eachother. Be safe and good luck.........;-)

A couple things need to be considered regarding when these engines were designed. Cartridge filters were pretty much all there was at the time, plus the engine/powerplant system was to be a one piece removable unit type configuration. These were also designed to be serviced and worked on in...

Crank pulley first, as it's much easier to work from the top where you can see what yer doin. :wink:

Any truck parts source will have the new air filter flow guage. They are not at all expensive and replacement is much easier than trying to repair one of those. When changing fuel filters, it is always a good idea to fill the new filters 3/4 or more with fresh fuel. Then it takes just a few...
