I agree !
My axle just started leaking and I noticed one boot has a split. I will be doing both as well. Who knows the last time this was done on my truck ?
I'm not looking forward to it that's for sure !
950 on the flats, and 1150 on the hills. I have 395's and hemmtt rims so I'm doing around 60mph. I'm very pleased with the truck. I also added a remote brake resevoir so I can keep track of any fluid changes.
I went with the 15530 no shipping or handling charges so delivered to the house for a total of $163. I don't need an adapter for it either. Its only slightly less capable regarding tongue weight and total weight to tow and exceeds the TM limits anyway !
Great info here !
I've got the same tender. I also disconnect the line between the two batterys and charge away. This is only if I'm not going to start/drive the truck for an extended time period perhaps a month. It only takes about 5 minutes and leaves me with a good piece of mind to know that they are ready...
You might want to make sure that you have a pressure transmitter that matches the gauge ie.
if you have a 0-120 psi gauge make sure you have a 120 psi transmitter. Fairly easy to check look at other posts regarding this. There are 0-60 gauges and 60psi transmitters. Mixing the two can cause...
I installed a pyro on mine pre turbo to monitor my motor as well. I only see 1175 max when pulling a hill with it pressed to the floor. I did not adjust my IP at all !
Thanks for the great info !
Here's what I did with mine. Started as an A3 panel.
Here's the link to my panel upgrades.

Put a new 0-70mph speedo in yesterday. Now I don't have to worry about spinning the cable or messing up the stock speedo. There is a little difference in accuracy. Before it was dead on now at 61mph indicated I'm actually doing about 58mph.
Link for speedo...
Dropped my tire pressure to 55psi and took a drive. Bouncing is almost gone. Steering is a little more difficult but the wondering has decreased a little. I think I going to stick with 55psi and drive it like it is. Its so nice to be able to cruise at 57mph ! I'm waiting on my 0-70mph...
I am doing the same thing. Took the cushions off and the hit it with a wire wheel on my air tools. Helped a lot. Some areas I couldn't reach so cleaned up the best I could and painted over. I'm using flat OD for my interior and will desert tan the outside again when the cab is complete.
when you replaced the shocks did that help with the bounce or did it stay the same. I'm thinking about droping my tire pressures to 50psi also. The toe in adjustment made a big difference. On rough narrow roads it still feels loose on the steering at 50mph or more.
