Clogged injector ? thin out your WMO more and maybe add some ATF (automatic transmission fluid - Dextron III) a few quarts to clean out the system and injectors.
Go out and run it !
I'm sure there will be an impact on towing. You've increased the rotating mass considerably. If you do a lot of heavy towing I wouldn't recommend the 395's. I would however think that putting 11.00's on stock rims would be good. You shouldn't loose too much and still get an extra 4 or 5mph...
The AVM where the most reasonable and available. Quality is good.
I wanted to install 395's and the Hemmt wheels are best for that. Great deals packaged ready to go. Andy at army6x6.net was my guy for them. Drove up to get them myself.
the type of hand brake lever I have is the adjustable type. I have an A3 style switch that should work with the handle just not sure exactly how to mount it ? A picture would be great.
Here's a link to the type of switch: Parking Brake Switch For M35A3, 11669094-1 / E2038-501
Tightening up the steering box did help a little. I also lowered the tire pressure to 60psi which helps the bounce. I need to adjust the toe-in and see if that takes care of the rest. The TM describes how to do both. I'll post up when I get the toe-in done with results. Won't get to it...
Went for a 100 mile drive. I have the pyrometer and boost gauges hooked up. Runs down the road great. I now do 58 to 60mph which seems to be the sweet spot. EGT runs about 950 and boost about 7. I am going to put on the 70mph speedometer so that I don't spin the cable or do damage to the...
I've done some instrument panel mods. I installed a hand brake warning light. I have all the parts but am unsure how to put the switch on the handle assembly. I've looked through the TM's with no luck. Anyone have a picture of how it goes in and/or the TM reference ?
I don't want to mount it...
OK, I've got the pyro and boost gauges in and need to setup the lighting for the instruments. I have a 24 to 12v converter to use for the pyro power and for an accessory outlet. I want the instrument lights to work with the master lighting switch !
So, I understand that I need to wire the...
I've taken the bench seat out to replace it with a spring seat. I will then probably mount my rifle holder between the two seats. I might get another mount so I can have 4 places or get two more and have 6 rifle holders 4 between the seats and two on the dash. :)
Or, maybe make a custom...
Mine was leaking also. I removed it and took it apart and cleaned it. Got a replacement rear seal not an exact fit hopefully it will take care of it. If not I will probably disconnect it at the fuel pump.
So you only did one side of the forward duel and this disconnects the entire axle so only the most rear axle drives ? Did you do the drivers side or passengers side wheel ?
Please more details. I just put AVM hubs on the front of my m35 and I like it much better !
On the road now so can't access the TM's. Just add an oz or two to the out line on the air compressor. Very easy and quick. Make sure you bleed the pressure off the system first at the air packs. This might be enough to get it working right.
I installed an alcohol sniffer in my air system that I use the airbrake conditioner in it. Suppose to due double duty to keep moisture out and the system lubed.
