They are easy to do. Look around your area for a turbo rebuilder and give them the numbers off of the turbo, They'll be able to find a kit or parts.
If it were mine and not failed at the time of install, i'd run it.
You will start to see a bit of oil in the radiator eventually. Just start lookin' for parts now and enjoy the ride for a bit 'till the oil gets so bad you can't stand it or you start to see oil in the cooling system. Then it is a good time to clean it all out when you do the top end.
Probably a head gasket. The upper end is oiled via oil rifles, one at the front of the block, and the other at the rear. If the engine has old style gaskets, there is no seal ring, permaseal, no nuthin' around the oil passages. The MO of leaking head gaskets is what you are seeing, or, a leak at...
Pressure washing plastic works great! As stated above, a nice new razor blade on the glass. Paint stripper works great on the rubber. I like aerosol aircraft paint stripper. That also works wonders on plastics like fuel and gas gans.
You know how many times I have gone back and TRIED to find something that I know I read here, used "search", and, could not for the life of me, find it? Why didn't you tell me this before? :roll:

WM, you had an extreme case! You should get the oil level down. Check the intake, the filter and pipes. If the exhaust is plugged up it will smoke black too.
If it is an electric trans, the shift points can be reprogrammed. There are converters to go from machanical modulation to electronic. If the trans in mechanical, there would be adjustments needed.
