Well it looks as its got a new set of heads a good sign because they crack between the valves one less thing to worry about. Looks like it may be rebuilt the green marks indicate check off points on the list of reassembly things to check.
I dont know for sure how Tom set his up but mine had stock hubs and I used two inch billet spacers no rubbing turning at all but even with my four inch lift if I hit a good hole the tires would hit the bottoms of the front fenders.
Well said Tony these are old trucks I have two 1009s just because they are my daily drivers I bought them cheap enough to make it economical. I realize they are old and can go down at any time but Im cheap I learned to fix them myself now I have one to drive while fixing the other at my leisure...
Tony let me know if you want the tinted window in the tailgate it was still there a couple days ago but one never knows the mental giants down there break out the tail light lenses with a hammer to get the bulbs out.
The original intent of this post was not to beat up on the cops but Im just really tired of feeling as were (common every day joe citizen) alway being watched It gets worse all the time. Its cameras on stoplight stanchions to guys standing in the middle of the road looking into my vehicle it...

Whats the going rate for land down by you Tony Im seriously thinking of going down to tennesee or northern alabama or northern georgia it gets worse every year here. The tinted rear window is still in the truck in the junk yard I may go get that too only draw back is that it is electric.
The only thing I dislike about the stock seats is the backs are always bent to far back its like being in a chaise lounge chair. The adjustable backs make for a much more comfortable ride Chuck this old guy will never have power windows or A/C in any of my old junk (but you already know that)...
Tony I have a brand new set of humvee seats I was going to put in the truck I sold you but Im on the hunt for an 813 so if I get one Im going to put the humvee seats into it like I did my deuce. I did manage to get the sliding rear windows into the blazer yesterday though the gestapo in our town...
Wow what an attitude it appears to me you think you already know everything there is to do on the truck so why even bother asking seems the OP is the child here.
Just be careful and look them over carefully most guys can tell a truck that hasnt been taken care of pretty easily and dont make the assumption just because its from down south that it isnt rusty.
It is nice I know the family they all work there he just bought the junk yard next door so its double the fun going out there now. Any old pre 88 chevy that comes in they call me before it goes out into the yard to pick what I want off of them I usually take the hoods of the civi trucks they are...
