I had the perfect day to work on the 813 60 degrees sunny so I added some upgrades today. First were the turn signals I took the old ones off that were like new anyway and added the LEDs since the turn signals had the metal bodys they went together like they were made for each other. Next since...
Thanks I had it driven off the base the day after the after EUC went through Rodger the GL rep said he would be there that one day and wouldnt be back for three weeks he was pretty happy to get it out of there on short notice and free up the space. A local guy down there takes trucks, trailers...
I was real impressed while leaving it run 10 or so minutes when we stopped at a rest stop not a drop of oil was under it from anywhere engine, trans, TC or axles.
A friend and myself went down to indianapolis today and brought the 813 home I bought from GL a couple weeks ago. I needed new batteries so two 8Ds and three hundred dollars lighter we were on the way we rode down in one of my 1009s after packing it with tools, batteries and all the other things...

Check the cup that is on the frame rail where the rod from the trans shift selector goes into there is a long spring on this rod make sure the plastic bushing is still intact in that cup.
Its pretty flat around here but thanks for the heads up the surge brake on this trailer is new and still pretty stiff you need a bit of braking to actuate the brakes. Im never in a hurry anymore I let the idiots in a big hurry go around me better in front of me than behind.
No problems it being a 101 trailer I believe these were made for cucv size trucks Im sure if you try to use a 105 trailer you definately going to have problems stopping it with a load.
The forklift can load it long ways with out the pallet there is a crossbar under the genset it will sit on without damaging it they load mine on my truck all the time when I pick them up at the freight yard.
Depends on what kind of surface your moving it on we used to move safes on one inch pipe rollers they work great on concrete or asphalt same getting them off a truck stout ramps and one inch pipe. In other areas grass or dirt wooden fence posts make good rollers just one in front of the other...
