Standard would be a secondary MFR.. certainly not the MFR of the basic truck. It has the windshield assy of a West Coast Aftermarket seller... and I am guessing that it was converted from a M34, M35 Chassis... the VIN will be on the LF frame rail behind the tire... The Standard...

From the Vin....A is 1939 thru D is 1942 for a starter..for the design year...there are some clues, but not many in your photos. How do you plan to convert to german (not capitalized intentionally) ? you gonna burn it?
you can use an impact driver on the screws after soaking with penetrant. and a little lheat from a Bernzomatic...They are a standard hardware item...(the screws) and then when replacing use the neverseize...
My LO of 1952 indicates 3 1/2 pints of GO in gear side and 1/2 pint in other side...But I seem to remember a TB indicating you could make a dipstick and measure from the fill plug.. trouble is I don't remember the length...
