    Deuce broke down today

Most of the tractor forums that I have read report ~4000 hours. Today's Tractors :: View topic - White 2-155 Hercules engine ? http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=209526&DisplayType=nested&setCookie=1...

It is for the very early flame heater systems with electric solenoids to control fuel.

what is this and why is it dripping fuel on turbo

If you want, you can get a new replacement from White Owl. DO NOT use a replacement with a hexagonal body.

    5 Ton turbo on a 2 1/2 Ton

I put a 4LE-354 wastegate turbo on my LDT; it is easily do-able. It ended up that the turbo was no good. However, after doing a little investigating, it probably wouldn't have done much anyway as Ken on SS says that they have the same ultimate boost anyway. The wastegate turbo uses a...

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

You don't HAVE to splice the harnesses together. The stock/ original wire fite pretty tight into the parker pump. It may be fine as-is. I used the stock fuse. What is the normal life of these pumps? (ie. how many for a lifetime supply)

    transfer case airlines

I used copper lines and flare fittings. I did not use the oem rubber airline between the transfer case and the hard line; seemed pointless as the transfer case doesn't move much and there is plenty movement in the hard line.

    Aftermarket Carb Question

Maybe perfectly fine for you:mrgreen:... If stuck with a carb, I want the best one I can get. Even if I were to rebuilt the original, there are DESIGN differences that you are not considering. For example, the economaster carbs have a number of improvements developed in search of better...

    Aftermarket Carb Question

In short, they work better. We installed one of Stovebolt's carbs on my brother's M37:better driveability and starts. I put a newer Holley 2300 economaster on my M35; significantly better performance. You have to give credit to the fact that carbs did get better with time.

    Drive axel gear ratio

I am not saying that the transmission gear set isn't the easiest and most cost effective solution. It is what I would do. However, I don't believe that the shift up in each gear is necessarily a bad thing. First gear is plenty low even in high range. Depends on the tires you are running and...

    Drive axel gear ratio

You've got the low transfer case range for this.

    Servo Brake Conversion

Somone on SS hinted at a much simpler method of reducing pedal pressure but I don't remember the details.

    Servo Brake Conversion

I know that the servo is SUPPOSED to reduce pedal effort, it just wasn't obvious to me.

    Servo Brake Conversion

My 1947 chevy pickup had the huck non-servo brakes and my 1948 was converted to the bendix servo brakes and I really couldn't tell a difference. Might be a lot of work to find out the same on an M35.
