Thanks No pto. Were is the vent located on the transfer case? I check the bell housing bolts and found no really loose ones. I will drain both units and flush. Fingers crossed... P.S. how do you ajust the clutch? Thanks Brock. :-D

Hi, Took a trip to pick pick up a trailer when I noticed a funny sound when I was shifting from 3 to 4th gears buy the time i got home it was in 5th too. The trans has always been stiff when shifting but the racket was very noticeable and only got worse. I made it home and found the transfer...

I just changed over to the spin on primary fuel filter adapter and after starting her up looking for fuel leaks at the filter i found none. But there was a small leak at the cold start filter but a little tighten there and she quit. But then noticed a leak dripping on the turbo from the back of...

Well this was what we found. 3 tork rods need help and the rear axle was leaking. My Mechanic has her all back together expect for 1 dog bone, parts missing in action, Next Wedsday...:-D

Amen, I checked mine and found one walking out so I decided to change all 12. I also found a leaking rear axle. :-P

I feel you. sometimes S***t happens. My mechanic gave me a idea. He said to chain the rear axles together so if the tork rods ever fail the chains will keep the axles from moving apart.

Here is a few pictures of the hard work my mechanic had to do. We also found a rear oil leak in the drivers side first rear axle...A hard working guy for 75. :-P

Looks like one was lonely so the other one came to keep it company. The third one just laugh at the other 2. I like the rear mud slicks. Brock.

Yep, 1968 Jeep 67.000 miles. Not in bad shape. Got her on e bay for $3.400.;-) Oil & fuel filter change, rear seal leak repair and away we go. I've put over 700 miles on her already no trouble. The bushings just aged out, maybe delayed maintenance. I just like to know my toys are safe and cared...

I think the dynomax looks better under the heat shield.:-P

Hey guys guess what i found? Yep one was walking out of the rod..... I called my Mobile mechanic and he is coming out tomorrow to replace them all. Better safe than sorry I always say..... This site and you guys are great thanks for the input. save me a lot of grief... Brock.:-D
