After purchasing a wrecker from @patracy , took a pre trip photo then tow barred it away to have the truck break the passenger tow bar mount and slide my truck. Apparently 2/3 bolts were broken long ago and the 3rd pulled through the bumper. Thank god everything was ok. Returned today with the...
I know it’s a late reply, but Columbus is 1hr south of me and I could transport it for you on my trailer or tow bar it reasonably

My M923A2 had 15w40 in it, temps stayed low, and worked excellent. I grabbed either delo or delvac that met the Allison spec and away we went. Only catch was I’d let the truck warm up for atleast 15 minutes on the first start of the day during winter, and about 10 minutes in the summer, and...
Be forewarned, a Whistler C will create higher drive pressure than a D turbo. Drive pressure is the evil aspect of boost, and boost does not blow head gaskets its drive pressure that does. So, cooler sound, at the cost of slightly reduced head gasket life in our trucks

Some say terrible idea, some say it’s great. Personally I had one, a heavy duty Napa switch, but I’ve seen issues with cheap ones unable to carry amperage. I also had a supplemental ground harness on my truck after fighting all kinds of issues and it cured them, so i felt confident in my keyed...
Took a 300 mile round trip on Friday with the raggedy rig, not a drop of oil leaked and averaged 12mpg!
Anyone ever seen a 3 door s280?
