Installed new Pitman and Idler arms - Replaced drivers side front CV boot and half shaft seal.

Just wanted to make sure i didnt order the wrong parts.

After inspection today I found both the Pitman and Idler Arm need replacement. My trucks a 1988 M998 ...seems there multiple part numbers for both parts. This is the two #'s I came up with - Good #'s ? Steering Gear Arm 2530012528362 Steering Idler Arm 2530012491577

The Holes......they saw it necessary to add these butes anywhere water might stand - there will be a patching/riveting party soon. There is a real bullet hole 9mm in the windshield frame going forward just below the top. FL Nat Guard truck.

Looking for a source for this seal NSN 5330014563884 - where the front axle shaft enters the portal axle assy. Is there a commercial equivalent?

Action - you do know that you do not need to mount the plate in FL if theres no original mounting place on your military truck - you do need to have the plate in your vehicle.
