Here's another thing to consider. Paper element filters will absorb water and once saturated, the paper won't allow fuel to pass through it. Just found out the hard way (after pulling, draining and treating tank interior) that "runs fine at idle and low speed but not at higher RPMs" was nothing...
Always appreciate another set of hands or another point of view. Wrestling the air pump in was a real treat. 70# and it has to go straight into the driving gear and lays over at an angle. Of course, it's always best to do these things in cramped quarters like inside my brother's utility trailer.
The PS edition of the Multifuel Operator is in the Tech Library for those of you who want a copy.
When we had the multifuelers way back when and were running them on gasoline for an emergency "get us the h*ll outa here" situation; we were told to try and add 30w motor oil so that the injection...
Being plastic and non-absorbant, it doesn't seem to clump in the rigs we've put it in. We try not to have standing water inside the tire when we mount them up so no problems so far.
Check out www.imiproducts.com for their product called EQUAL.
They have the beads and even include filtered valve cores to keep the beads from jamming the valve core open. Will be using them in my 1600X20s when I get the baby HEMTT on the road. Lots of outfits around here are going to them.
Might throw fresh fuel filters in. The paper element filters do a good job of keeping the junk out of fuel but will also absorb water if it's present. Once the paper is water saturated, it won't flow fuel. Might also check tank vents; if you're creating a vacuum in the tank, the pump will have a...
Hey Kenny,
First, I think it's 60 not 70.
And secondly, Always remember the three most often heard words just prior to a trip to the Emergency Room;
"Hey, watch this!"
Work safe, lad.

Notes, heck... It looks like I'm writing a novel.
My buddy's thinking about using one of our other cabs for his own project so I/we are logging all dimensions and set-up tips we're learning on my truck. Lots of pictures too so I'll have something to share when the project's done. Have already...
Latest update on my deuce project.
Got the cab on and am fine tuning the mounts. Next will be setting the engine/trans/transfer case to dial in the mounts. Then it's time to set the bed and spray some paint. Too much time, too little sense.
Any idea what the dimensions are? Looks like a set can be cobbled together if the sizes were known. Also, cup type or disc type? We've got several big engine shops here and I can do some shopping for you if you like.
Have noticed that if I forget to logoff. I stay logged on even though I exit the site. As I seem to be coming down with Auldtimers Disease I often have to come back to logoff so as not to screw anything up on the site. Is there a way to do an auto logoff whenever a member exits the site? Or do I...
Latest shots of deuce project
Got the front end in and mounted up. Ready to set the cab on it's new mounts. Next is CTD/Allison installation and M900 series transfer case locate and hang.
I'm guessing it'll be on the road sometime around Christmas. If I don't get wrapped around the axle with...
Well, I can't find the site again but it's sure a well done picture. Even to the stirrup step under the fuel tank and tha platform step on top to aid in entry. Pretty clever.
Here's an unsusal set-up; can't say's I've ever seen one before.
Anybody got any info or details to enlighten me?
Not on the babushka, you ka-nuckleheads... on the truck.
