That would also work well on the 800 series as the heater mounts on the passenger side and needs a large mounting plate and a couple support brackets. You could eliminate those parts altogether.
I have an electric wiper kit that is missing a couple parts. Anyone here have some loose extra parts laying around or know where I can get them? Specifically a wiper arm, a harness, and maybe the plastic linkage covers that mount over the conlink assemblies? Thanks!

Take the cover off the gate and check the side channels for obstructions. The felt in the channels deteriorate, comes apart, and can get pinched up in the track. If you haven't done so already, spend a little time and PM the entire mechanism. Adjusting, lubing, and replacing worn/broken parts...
