Ether all the way. A little goes a long way, and a cold engine responds almost immediately to a metered shot. Care must be used with ether. Only ever give the engine a shot while it's cranking. A bottle will last multiple cold seasons on average.

Ditto on the fuel fired heaters. A bit loud but they do make the HEAT.

Yes, they use the B blank key, or 'round head' type. Keys 4 sale on ebay. That is another reason why I change the ignition and door locks on my cucv's.

It looks like it might have at one time, but that truck never leaked oil there.

A few more. Also know that the deuce heater kits are not the same as the 5 ton. The diverter is different, as are the controls and obviously the mounting brackets and plate for the heater box.

Normally, you do not need to do item 1. If you are loosing fuel in the lines everytime the truck is parked, then you need to look for the problem. Air leak? Fuel pump not checking fuel and allowing drainback? Find/fix the problem and save the wear and tear on the starter. Good luck.

If I read the above correctly, you can't get both units to power up simultaniously? Instead of powering both through the radio mount, another option might be to power them seperately. I power both the radio and vic-1 at the same time by using an mx-7777 supressor. The power cable from the...
