Stop it already. I'm tired of hearing all this stuff on M151A2s. Will there be any at the rally? Whiterabbit? I'd like to take one for a spin if possible. I've wanted one for years and I think that when I retire in just under 2 years, I'm going to reward myself.
I thought the 151 was going from the rally to LA. Another option albeit a little work, is to use an M103A3 chassis and sling it on there. Would require some cribbing for sure!
If my calculations are correct, the deck on the front of the M750 is 113". If it has the tunnel box it's considerably shorter. Tunnel boxes unbolt. Here are the dimensions I had in one of my TMs. There is probably a way to do it!
The column doesn't just unbolt, it needs to be disassembled to get it off. You can unbolt the box from the frame so that it can swing up and down. My experience is that they are somewhat problematic to remove with the bed in place.
You would have to throw a measuring stick on it to be sure. I think it might fit on the deck but the bumper would be tapping your head on turns. Suppose you could tow bar it off the back of the M750 but man, if anything went wrong, you sure wouldn't feel it. A awarded for effort none the...
How do you plan on clearing the steering column. If you remove the bed it becomes easier to man handle the cab. I can roll a cab around the yard by myself so a couple of hundred sounds plausible.
Cancel my last. I only had one pair of mirrors and now I know why I haven't seen them. LOL.
Cots, I have a few if folks need a loaner. Wasn't considering selling.
For what it's worth, I use the aluminum support poles Streamline sells as a flag pole. I pound the first section into the ground through the lunette of the M101A3 and shim the lunette with wood or tent stakes. I then add the additional poles to that to support the flag. I'm sure you can come...
If you use Firefox you can post just as you do on the regular site. I've had a really poor experience with tapatalk and even now can't find a way to respond to posts.
