This is probably a stupid question, but here it is anyway: This thread reminded me that the door check on the passenger side was disconnected so I went out and removed it completely. I added some more rubber to it and went to put it back in thinking that the part pinned to it just clipped into...
Maxtor, do you have any pictures? Mine is bolted to the hood, but needs to be moved before it starts to get hot here since the plate blocks some of the radiator.
From the picture it looks like you have at least 2 bad tires. The rear one may air back up, but it probably has cracks in the sidewall from sitting flat for so long. Even if it looks ok from the outside, I think it would be safer to have it hauled home since you'd already have the your spare on...
A dome light probably would be better. I just need to come up with one that I can connect without having to drill into the hardtop and make even more cab leaks than I have already. I think I might try to find some of those holders anyway even if they just end up mounted in the garage. Thanks for...
Where did you get the flashlight holder? Would it be possible to mount one sideways so the light could be pointed at the dash to make nighttime starting easier?
Another option is an air hose off a M105 trailer with a female quick connect put on the non gladhand end to make a short adapter hose. The threads on the hose and the quick connect are the same.
Congrats on the new trailer! That is a new bed, the older ones(like what yours originally had) only had 4 braces on each sides while the newer ones(like the box on there now) have 6. What are your plans for it?
Major Shul's book is well worth the price! If you see him when he's selling them at an airshow, there's a pretty big discount (atleast there was when I bought my signed copy). At Plant 42 in Palmdale there's an outdoor museum that has TWO SR71's and an F117 (among many others) parked looking out...
Last week we bought a 1500 lb concrete saw on GL from Fort Carson, CO. It needs to get to Palmdale, CA. My dad was planning on diving to Colorado to pick it up and bring it back. If anyone would like to kick in some diesel money to get something else picked up and brought southwest we'd be happy...
Pictures before and after the drag race. Only three trucks raced- Fastnova won, followed by Blendmaster and then me. Although I did "paint" my back wheels to match the front ones during the race.
That was a ton of fun! We got back home at about 5:30 tonight, and the only problem the entire trip was when the drivers side mirror decided to break off on the freeway. Luckily my dad caught it before it came off all the way. Does anyone have the C shaped part of the bracket they'd be willing...
Patracy, thanks for all your hard work to get the site back up!!!
I don't know if this is related to the crash or not, but now when I try to upload pictures it keeps saying that .jpg is not a valid image file.
