You grease the pivots with the fittings a coupla pumps every six months or so.. ACE

take off the cover and clean it out and check on the condition in there. If it is dead... new rears complete are available cheaper than fixing a ring and pinion and a corporate locker... ACE

I had about six of them and they are nice with the stand up cab.. be careful of rust around where the streamlined cab roof was put on...and you find some nice surprises in the two glove boxes over head... ACE.
