With no load you will get 24 volts at the output of the resistor.. when you put the glow plug load on the voltage drops to the required amount and the rest is dissipated in heat thru the resistor. The relay operation has no connection to the high voltage.. there is a straight thru path for the...
Too each his own.. Oshkosh used series parallel switches in the snofiters for years.. The WWII 6 tons used 6/12 and I even had one in my CJ2A .. bought it at JC Whitney about 1966.. Mounted a second 6 volt battery in a marine box on the front bumper... sure cranked over fast... used the 6 v...
RE: Re: RE: Stock dual exhaust size?
the standard dual setup is plenty big enough for the naturally aspirated 6.2... My 6.5 turbo on my 98 GMC has only one small pipe!! ACE
I would suggest a good course in metalworking and cutting etc from your local community college.. Maybe you could bring your own work there and have expert help and get credit for it... been done many times before.. Some High Schools even have their students in Shop Class work on outside...
Air starters take a lot of air and if you don't have capacity in your tanks and no leaks over night you will not start... especially if your manifold heater is not working in cold weather.. Be sure to count teeth on any starter you use...I believe there are 11, 12 and 13 tooth lookalikes out...

Mico lock...is the electric valve which holds hydraulic pressure and the switch is marked "do not use for parking" as it eventually pushes fluid thru the weakest cup in the system... and in the M211 series there are 24 cups in the wheel cyls plus those in the MC and PaK......ACE
The M series headlamp bulbs are now furnished without the Packard or Douglas connectors so you can convert to fit all M series vehicles from 1950. The bullets are installed and also the wire # tags...ACE
