Preliminary plans are to head out friday, after kids are off school, towing pickup with crane. Stick around a couple of hours, then head home in pickup. Come back saturday around 10 for the day, with kids, then leave saturday late afternoon/evening. This assumes I can find my towing adapters...

Haven't touched the deuce yet. If I have time, need to replace shifter seal on transfer. Needs oil change, extra filters, and greased. Fuel filters have been done recently. Then on to packing the camper, deuce, bus, and trailer. Race mowers are being gone over, and should be in tip top...

I will be coming through Columbus about 8 am Wednesday. Deuce and bus.

My daughter has requested a ride in my deuce for prom also. I will have to post pics afterwards.

I notched a couple bed crossmembers, and didn't raise the bed at all. Bed looks completely stock, aside from the missing bumperettes.

Good deal on avoiding removal of the spring pack. Know we all know how to do it!

Couple people have said they removed the spring pack. I had to replace the u bolts last time I removed one. Not sure if there is enough room for a socket and breaker bar.

Just saw a pic of a 5 ton with a bucket on the back, setting up a missle. Military vehicles magazine posted it on facebook a couple days ago.

I would guess it's a dead spline, as in the yokes are fixed at each end, and the shaft does not have to move shorter/longer while running. Think doghead did a retube on his 5 ton.

I just got a duramax truck, engine and tranny are huge compared to my old 350/nv4500 truck. Matter of fact everything underneath is big.

I've had good luck honing and replacing seals in wheel cylinders. As long as they don't have bad pitting. Did a couple with some small pitting, but not where the seal would rub it.

I saw this event, because of the airsoft aspect. Do they use any WW2 vehicles?
