The light voltage really don't matter just change the 12v bulbs to 24v

The only way to get the yellow lights to blink without the brake lights is to wire them to the front blinkers. The correct lights are probably cheaper than 50 foot of wire.

Ussually I think its in the parts section of the tm , At the end of what your looking at doing there is a list of tools required. Axle Nut Sockets from this ; 5 Tons require both 4-3/8" & 4-7/8"

It should list the size in the special tools list in the TM . 3 inch fits 2 1/2 tons don't know about 939 series.

Wlcome , when you start on the brakes build yourself a power bleeder , here is a link on how to do it . Deuce Power Bleeder R4x4 Style The military uses DOT 5 break fluid , you need to determine what is in it . If it has been mixed with any other brake fluid it could be part of the problems .

I would replace the front seal in the transmission while it's out , especially after tugging on trying to get the transmission out . A couple dollar seal is cheap insurance to not have to pull it again.
