    12 volt radios in 24 volt m35a2

the second is the one that grounded to the frame. it doesn't matter if your connecting your + cable for 12V pickup to the - terminal of the first battery or to the + terminal of the second one. they're connected with heavy gauge cable together, the result is the same. you got 12V with - on the...

    12 volt radios in 24 volt m35a2

if you run 12V lights in series, remind: if one fail, both are dark. never do this with driving lights, this can be very dangerous. cab markers, interieur lights - who cares about? (but for what?24V bulbs aren't expensive.)

    12 volt radios in 24 volt m35a2

i wouldn't do that....electronic is not a bulb, you need ohmic resistance to get the right voltage. a small 24V-12V DC converter is cheap, don't fry your stereo.

    Tire size question

the answer is easy...read the manufacturer specs for the tires. for each dimension is the rim width specified. its a range from - to. if youre out of this range, it's maybe unsafe / dangerous. if you're involved in an accident, you're in trouble. if somebodys hurt or dead and it's your fault...

    SUV Deuce?

i would go that way: a subframe under the whole body, fix mounted to the frame in the front, flexible at the back. it can be made out of square tube, if you compare to the original subframe under bed with the necessary height of the new one, theres more than enough space for some flex. would...

    Shelter to Camper Conversion....

thanks at all! Ray, your own work set the benchmark. I trial to make a clean and rugged installation. it was a lot of work, removing the old installation, ( felt 100.000 rivets  ), fill the holes with bondo, sanding, fiberglass wallpaper, paint with concrete colour....works very well...
