if you run 12V lights in series, remind: if one fail, both are dark. never do this with driving lights, this can be very dangerous.

i wouldn't do that....electronic is not a bulb, you need ohmic resistance to get the right voltage. a small 24V-12V DC converter is cheap, don't fry your stereo.
the answer is easy...read the manufacturer specs for the tires. for each dimension is the rim width specified. its a range from - to. if youre out of this range, it's maybe unsafe / dangerous.

i would go that way:
a subframe under the whole body, fix mounted to the frame in the front, flexible at the back.
it can be made out of square tube, if you compare to the original subframe under bed with the necessary height of the new one, theres more than enough space for some flex.

i think its a good idea. leave your camper where ever you want and drive your truck to places you can't reach with a trailer behind. no need to load / unload the camper.

I trial to make a clean and rugged installation. it was a lot of work, removing the old installation, ( felt 100.000 rivets :lol: ), fill the holes with bondo, sanding, fiberglass wallpaper, paint with concrete colour....works very well...
