When I'm sitting still or a low speeds, I hear a knock under the floorboard when I turn the steering wheel left and right. It feels like a bump under the floor. I checked and the frame where the steering box is not cracked. What else will cause this bump when I move the steering wheel?

How loose should the plastic connectors be on the glow plugs? Also, how hard are these to change?

I just replaced all of the them with new wellmans. Of course, I do have a leak in my injection pump on the seal where the accelerator shaft attaches....maybe this is the cause of starting problems. So if I hear the relay clicking then that means I've got power to the glow plugs? So I don't...

I turn the key, the wait light comes on, I hear the relay click under the dash.... Does the relay making noise mean the the glow plugs are being turned on? I'm thinking of installing a manual push button for the glow plugs because it takes a minute or so to start the truck up when its cold.

All I did was take the seats out and drove it to the line-x place. He did all the prep work for me

RE: Tell me what I The only time it smokes is when I first crank it up (the injection pump has leak thoiugh so it probably gets air in the lines... and it will have a little bit of smoke when I get on the throttle. But it doesn't smoke just driving normally down the road

I removed all the seats, seat belts, etc and took it to them. The total cost was $600 for it. I'm really happy with it, makes the inside of the truck look so much better.
