Thats nothing, I just saw a listing on a live auction that stated vehicle runs. In the picture, written write on the windshield are the words "WILL NOT RUN". I guess I got lucky with the last 1009 I won. I didn't preview it, just bid and picked up, only needed a battery and runs fine---for now!
I just did mine the other day to paint and trace a windshield leak. Basically just undo all the little bolts on the passenger side, including the radio brace (and don't forget the screw on the side of the dash pad). Then undo the screws that hold the dash panel on, pull the dash panel away...
When I let off the gas I hear a loud knocking noise coming from the rear of the 1009. I did notice that my right rear tire has no wheel weight, so maybe its causing enough vibration to rattle something?? What could cause a loud noise in the rear end when you let off gas? It seems to happen...
I know all about picking up a spare 6.2. I just won two of them in containers from Redstone, AL. Waiting on my EUC to clear to pick them up. Won them for the $150 a piece
It runs fine after if starts up. I can shut it off, and it'll will fire right up if not sitting for more than 5 hours. I noticed too that after it warms up, the leak stops

I replaced all of my weatherstripping last week. Today was our first day of good rain. I noticed that a lot of water has gathered on my driver's side floorboard. It looks like the water came in from the vent area near my feet. Is there a seal down there somewhere that is prone to leakage?
When I picked up my 1009 three weeks ago it would vibrate around 55-65 mph. I took it to the local tire place and every tire was dry rotted. I had them put 4 new tires on (BF all terrain) and the vibration went away.
