You can swap any part between a LDS and LDT motor, and run it. Pump settings are different. But the LDS pump will work fine on a LDT motor. Bellhousings and starter locations are different, depending on what truck it is in, 5 ton or 2.5 ton.

A truck with a locked up turbo will start and run. Just smokes a little more and has less power. Turbo on mine was locked up when I bought it, and it started spinning about 20 min after driving it. It has worked fine ever since.

Of course I am slightly taller than Kenny, so its not as far to jump. And if the crane is facing to the rear, I can reach the controls from the ground:D.

That is not the original frame. Looks like maybe a cement truck frame? Bet that doesn't flex going over bumps. I will admit there is a lot of work in the truck, just not sure why.
My E1 trailer is air/hyd. Quick note, if you disconnect the airlines from a truck, the brakes will lock as long as the air tank has air. There is a cable pull to drain the air tank on the rear of the trailer.
Gauges in both of my trucks were wrong. Best bet is to check it with a mechanical gauge. They run 70psi at speed, 30-40 idle, 90 cold. 86 and 93 motors.
