Memphis only sells the newer style head gaskets, unless you ask for the older style. White owl only has the older style gaskets.

That sure is purty boot ya got there.... I also went to one piece boots when putting all new seals in the M108. Managed to drop a steering knuckle on the shoe... OUCH. They are the rubber/black ones from saturn. M35 is due for seals and boots, so it will get the newer yeller boots.

Ahh.. I've seen JCP-7's trailer, it's a LONG booger, and the axles are way back. It's also full height... which could be very bad, the M819 is a tall truck, the crane on the back sits way up there, it's taller than any other wrecker.... Little edit, looks like he has a M270a1, which is a drop...

If you use the 818 to push the truck on the trailer, be careful the front of the trailer dosen't come up off the ground.

5 ton's are nice, with the power steering and bigger motor. And you can haul more weight. Not that I've needed to haul more than a deuce can handle. Then anytime you work on it parts are WAY bigger than the deuce parts, more expensive, and heavier. Of course most deuce's lack power...

My old Massey tractor(diesel) shoots sparks, or should I say embers, all day long. Mostly because I never run it hard. Has over 7500 hours on it and runs fine.
