There are more pics hiding in another thread, about him hauling home the M35 parts donor... can't seem to find it right now.
Anything feels fast after your M109, question is does it feel faster than a NORMAL M35?
Bet Jeff's glad to see that one run!

I use DOT 3. DOT 5 dosen't abosrb water, so any water in the system goes to the lowest point, the wheel clyinders, and can cause rust there. Seen it on deuces before...
Many countries run the M35 as their standard truck, and need parts just like the USA. Look at the half-track, Israeli used them up till recently, and it's a WW2 truck.
You can hear the compressor working on my truck, and it is intermittent, depending on whether it's pumping or not. Sounds like a normal noise to me, but yours might be nosier.
Water pump has a weep hole.
Don't know if anyone has rebuilt the compressors, a truck shop would probably have the...
Heck, you are still under the 5 ton limit. I've been weighed at 30,000lbs with gravel, and truck weighs 15,000lbs... And was really slow getting up to speed. Doesn't bottom out the springs, but rides much different. Stopping wasn't a problem, just tried to stop early. And can never have...
is it a gasser, or diesel? Gasser isn't worth as much, unless it's a 2 1/2ton truck.
Could be a M816 on the other hand, which would be well worth the money. Grab the camera and post pics, someone here can tell you what it is.

Yep, I bought mine because I always wanted one, and it makes the jacked up 4x4's look pretty weak.
Now, I use mine for work more and more. You will be surprised how many times you have to haul more than a pickup load of something. Best mod I did was adding a dump. Haul wood, trash, move...
The pieces of angle iron going across the frame rails on my truck are there to support the hydraulic tank, and do not mount to the airtanks.
Not the best pics, but your tanks are mounted different than mine. There is a small piece of channel under my tanks, that goes from under the tanks, up...
Should not interfere, that is where my tank/pump is for the dump, and it dosen't hit, and is larger. But check for yourself....
Also, on the PTO of my crane truck, the tank is moved to the spare tire location, but the M108 stores the spare on the crane.
