I want to say this years RIMVCC show was great! Having the ability to camp really made it a more desirable show for the guys coming from other states. Even with the forecast of severe weather, there was a huge amount of trucks there this year. There was even a very good attendance on Sunday. I...
I have put Ibistek light bars on some of my 5 ton trucks. They work great. They will blind innocent bystanders though. I came out of the woods into the show area at the Weare NH rally and blinded everyone. There were old guys walking around like zombies and walking into stuff. LOL! I wasn't to...
I will start out with the 290 and bump it up as it requires. I am picking up an inter cooler for the truck next week. The cooler intake charge should bring it up to what a Cummins 300 is.
I looked at my M936 after reading this thread. I would not cut the boxes. I am with CMS Davis cut the support and wall. There is plenty of room going towards the cab.
No problem. I am going to flyer some shows in this area. I have a flyer on the door at A&H Recon. Shop already. Can't wait for the show. I like all the positive changes that the club made to the show.
Good to see you are covering your bases. I am in full support of the show and I am getting people to come from CT and Cape Cod. I posted a thread in Upcoming events last Sunday.
I started a thread a week ago on this.
"The Rhode Island 14th annual Historic Military Vehicle Show Sept. 6-7
Members of the Rhode Island Military Vehicle Club have really worked hard to Improve their annual show. This year's show really sounds exciting, they have a new bigger location on...
I have been maintaining customer's M939 series trucks for a few years now and I am stating to see a lot of valve, check valve failures. The cause? None functional air dyers or poor operating dyers. I have been replacing the whole unit with new ones, but this time I used a Purest air dyer from...
I have put a lot of thought into the M915 movement. I work on these military trucks for a living. I own a TM for each kind of military trucks and just like the TMs. The M915,M916 and M920 should have their own section in the forum. I know there is a small group of owners out there, but an M35...
Zebedee my mistake. There was no insult intended ;) I am still learning the differences in the models. I thought only the CCC cab were A1. Looks like you will need to give me lessons at the RI show ;) I hope your trip home went better then you trip up.
