Zebedee it was great to see you again. Sorry, you didn't make the trail ride. You M916a3 was awesome, thanks for letting me take it for a test drive. Check out the RIMVCC show Sept. 6-7
Members of the Rhode Island Military Vehicle Club have really worked hard to Improve their annual show. This year's show really sounds exciting, they have a new bigger location on grass, more food venders, music, lots of venders and trail rides. The new Date is Sept. 6-7 from 9am-5pm daily. The...
Yup, that was Jeepnasty in his M923A2 four door. Martincox was there with his Scorpion tank and his M915. Howard was nice enough to let me borrow his M916A2 for a while ;) . I noticed a big drop in attendance this year. There were more big venders this year, but no smokin deals. I really enjoy...
I bought a bunch of the O rings in the brown bags. They were all marked the same, some were the right size (1/4) some were the wrong size (3/16). I caught it and ordered new ones.

I have found that the dual fuel line modification reduces this. The rear cylinders are getting lower pressure and hotter fuel. Adding a supply pump to the fuel system helps even more.
I wonder if raising the bed will help with the tire hitting problem? The power of the wrecker is terrible with the stock 1100's. The cummins 290 will get it moving.
I know it has probable been posted before but I can't seem to find anything here on SS or the Web.I can't even find pictures. I know that 1600's on 5 ton combat rims will fit. I have had a set on two of my other trucks. I always use 1 1/2 spacers on the front so the tires don't rub the pitman...
Yes, the amount of torque produced by a 5 ton will turn traditional locking hubs into a 3D gigsaw puzzle. I decided on having a desplined set of hubs for on road and stock hubs for off- road and snow.
