they are home made 20X10.75 i made them a hair wider so that they would flaten out the tire and let me run a little more air so that it want quite so wishey washey on the turns. No fender problems after the 3 inch body lift, if you have fender problems just grab a set of gasser fenders and do...
if any one wants another AT545 i have one i took off of my 6BT good shape but its 31 inches long i think and the stock 5 speed is around 25 1/2 from bell to u joint. There is no Over Drive so i hope you got big tires, even with 16:00 20's i cant get it to my liking so im going with a RTO 909 and...
holly cow man i read that whole thing to, i dont know how you picked that out. thats awsome but yet i dont have the only one. That is however very good information against the MVPA the next time they jump on me for hacking
sodder works good, shooda called me i just practicly gave one away that sorta held water. well traded for an AR-15 and AK-47.
Hows the turbo look? now that you finaly got it.....ugg
well, its not. i just needed the body lift when i did the cummins swap to cram the huge radiator and air to air after cooler. Kinda like they did with the M35-A3's with the cats, only they didnt lift the cab they just lifted the front of the hood and let it be at an incline UP in the front...
im workin on it man....for the crew cab, my cummins came with two a/c pumps and i could have had eveything on the bus but i wasnt that quick. I still have to check out that stuff you found on e bay but i was going to buy two "vintage air" street rod set ups and have dual zome climate controle
hey so i was reading all this square wave and chopper stuff...kinda makes the welder warket make more sense. any way so how hard would it be to go from 12 to 24 volt? I know it can be done, dewalt charges an 18 volt battery off of a 12 volt lighter plug. I would like to run my fuel pump on 24...
hmmm it seems 1ton has been doing his home work, the plan is to cut the back corner of the cab much like a car or i think newer suburbans and take a fender from the oposite side and mary it on so its a mirror of where the front fender meets the tool box or battery box. kinda like a ferrowing but...
you know i was kinda thinking that because it says that the hard top fits both, thats why i bought that m-543 wrecker was for the cab and tires but noticed the rocker had rust holes in it and i want a "perfect" one as far as rust goes. I think dents are better than rust on a cab, or at least one...
well uh actualy yes i am but not till next year for the hot rod power tour. I figure it wouldnt be complete without a hot rod deuce
so the cab is probably out but i still want the axle, let me know what you need.
Thanks for the interest in the project.
so does anybody have an extra cab so i dont have to incopasatate my truck for so long? just make an entire new one and swap them out.
So i came up with a donor truck with a hard top and a nice cab. The chopping began less than 24 hours after the truck hit the yard. The plan is as follows
Chop fire wall off of new cab and spread the front to make it square.
Chop the back of my or another cab if i can find one, off and...
