jeff yes it's 60 or 61 MPH I've been looking for a M916 to tow a low boy with a tank on it,
by the way for those who have tractors what do you like more a M52A1-A2 or the M818.
you can get them from NAPA too if you need one in a hurry or something tell them you want a shoe for a 60's Jeep Gladiator Pickup

I just had the same problem I gave up on one and used a spare and I even had the tool cranetruck is showing in the pic,
the thread's are right hand but there very fine so when it rust it get's stuck big time, you can easily remove the pulley with a gear
puller good luck may be try heat.
should go in as long as the gears line up but if you spin it and it still wont go then it sounds like a problem I assume you have used older tranny's before and know what it feels like when they go in.
Delo Gear Lubricant ESI is ok with yellow metals I called tech support to check if I remember right valvoline gear oil is ok too,
the military use's castrol I'm waiting to hear back from them.
