They do the same thing in Indiana for some titles.
Call your local law enforcement office and tell them what you need done.
They may charge a small fee.
If you are being asked for this, you can bet you are not the first, nor the last.
Just my two cents

I had a hole in my J pipe when I got my deuce. I had a laundry list of repaiirs to do and money was tight so I made a temporary repair and it is still holding. I do plan to repace the pipe this spring.
I took a section of a 3" exhaust tailpipe that had a 90 degree bend. I cut the section out...
I am rapidly approaching the double nickel.
55 to you young whippersnappers who have not a clue what that means.
I know I'm older, but I feel younger everyday! Must be all the fun I am having!

The original post says 4 axle "TAG" trailer. I interpret that to mean a "bumper hitch" type of trailer. I would imagine that it would have a pintle hitch, but that is speculation on my part.
The original post did not say whether it was a dually or not for the tow vehicle. That would make a...
No question, a tilt column is a great add to any stock situation. I just want to make sure he is fixing the wiper problem too.
I have the vehicle wiring diagrams for the donor vehicle if it is needed.

When you say your wipers do not return, please specify exactly what you mean. I have worked on GM wipers for years and the wipers are parked by actually adding power to a circuit which uses a relay to stop the wipers and drop out the power on the motor. Otherwise the motor just keeps going...
I would apologize as I misread the initial post and thought we were dealing with a tandem axle trailer.
Four axles certainly makes enough load carrying capacity. I also noticed it was a bumper hitch type of rig (probably a pintle hitch). The fact it is not a 5th wheel increases the sway...
I have yet to see a tandem axle trailer with single tires that really is rated to haul 13000 pounds payload. If anything, tire capacity is the limiting issue.
The tow bill is a ridiculous amount, but in the Kommunist State of Massachusetts (I am assuming it was in MASS) you are at the mercy of...
Can't say as to the work you propose. I would ask about special tools as you need a special socket for the bearing nuts in the rear, and although I have not had the priveledge (YET) of tearing into the front end of my deuce, I expect that you will need at least one "Unique" tool, perhaps a...
I put some JATONKAS spin on filters on my deuce. Pressure comes up in less than 3 seconds cold, and almost instantly if it has been run at all.
I think JT has the right idea about how to get oil in the engine the quickest.

I will be honest and ask if a "LOW" speed is all that important. I have a heater in my deuce and when it is cold enough to need the heater, I need as much heat as it can produce. I almost never use low and I would imagine that unless you insulated the floor, plugged all the cracks and air...
I have a simple question as to the situation here,
Did you check the voltage at the battery when the truck is running?
What is the voltage?
I would hate to see you chasing your tail if it is a faulty indicator light circuit.
Just my two cents

If you go to an auto parts store, ford used a cable operated heater control valve in their late 60's through about 75 or 76 pick up trucks to control the heat in the cab. I believe it is 5/8" but don't quote me.

You have to rule out the system before you can condemn the alternator.
If you do decide the alternator is not doing as it should you may want to bring the rig over to the Automotive rebuilding shop. They can evaluate the problem easier if it is in the system.
Hope it goes well...

Hi;
I am glad you got the column apart and together ok. Gen 2 field voltage is controlled by a relay which should be near the fuse panel inside. I would check to see if the field has voltage available. The ground is controlled by the relay to energize the field with the truck running. Then...
Hi;
You will need two tools to disassemble your steering column enough to replace the turn signal switch. First, you will need a steering wheel puller. Sometimes the wheel will come off with a firm tug and sometimes not. I have one as I work on Chevys a lot and do get into the steering columns...
I disagree...that Deuce is TOTALLED! Look at the damage...I will be happy to take it off your hands! No Charge!
You can sue the old lady and get another one!
 :-D
The jeep sounds like someone put a later model "F" head engine to replace the original flat head 4 cylinder. The carburator sits higher on the F head and is why the hood has been cut to make room. Just a guess on my part. The data tag in the jeep would tell you more than I can by commenting...
Prolific slobber is a mess. I started my truck once when I forgot to cover the stack before a torrential rainstorm we had and it covered my truck, my Suburban and the comm shelter on a trailer I have. The soot is a messy and difficult mess to clean up too.
