The ID plate on the gen. says generator 60 amp and so on. If the small wire is supposed to be energized then somethings wrong. It has 0 volts on the small pig tail wire. Which switch does it connect to, the push button start button or the actual switch next to the engine stop? Thanks
I haven't worked with generators at all. I am only getting 24.4 volts-low at the batteries and on the back of the 60 amp generator. I am assuming the larger battery cable coming from the gen goes to a constant bat pos source when the engine is running. Where does the other smaller pig tail go...
I dont see any run out on the rotor, I will put a mic on it tomorrow to be sure. Yes I have the spring in there too. I have never seen the caliper bracket bending either, it is pretty stout! Thanks
Devilman,
Napa 3512 spin on fuel filters work great, why do you think this filter is not correct. I have been using the 3512 for years with no problems.
I would like to see pics of all of the filters changed to spin on's. I only change the primary fuel filter to a spin on (Napa 3512).
OK, 86 1008 has a brake pull to the right front. I jacked the front end up and free spun the tires, the right front is dragging very badly. I can barley spin it. I took the hub all apart and everything is ok. The caliper shim was very difficult to remove, I had to hammer the heck out of it...
The diagram is not correct for the M35. JR is correct, all you need is the spring that attaches to the lever that has the hole in it for the adjustment cable. You do not need the wire clip on the bottom of the assembly. I can probably get a spring for you if needed.
I will get part numbers on Monday if you are interested. It is a napa filter adapter. Drill holes for adapter to mount on the bracket and the fuel line fittings screw right in as i remember.
Before you tear it down, get a DVOM and set it to amps. Disconnect one of your negative battery terminals and hook the amp meter in series with neg bat post and the cable. This will measure parastic draw on the bat. Normally a good spec is under 70mA. If you have more than this, try to...
