I forgot the Sprag case. That's the only thing major other than the engine. Wiper knobs went from small to large. A1s had hinged rubber mudflaps. A1 beds were u-bolted on in the center bolts instead of using the angle clips. A1s had a stomp button above or in front of the brake pedal connected...
The only big difference was the switch from the A1 LDS-427 engine (which is now rare) to the LD-465 (non turbo) engine. Later they added the turbo = LDT 465.
This thread starts out a little confusing but has good A1 info later...
Jeepsinker, I'm trying to get my hands on red's trans, (the guys who's putting in the DT466) which hopefully just needs an input, and may get another from a boneyard a little east of me.
I also know of one that's supposed to be a good running takeout north of me in LA, but it's a little far...

Thanks.
I think the stack is just grayed from heat/weather. I'm in the desert, so the whole thing is faded, but should buff out.
The electric fuel pump makes funny noises, and it doesn't start/run real well, no fuel out the bleeder with just the elec pump running. I think maybe the suction...
...kinda. Storing it until I can get something else sold to buy it. Pretty nice except the trans is blown up.
First pic is with the "water deuce" aka Paramount water truck.
The weather has gotten down under 100F, so I'm back to working on this one. Had to come refresh my memory on assembling the shoes to the backing plate.
Been working on the big dodge, pulled out a stuck semi with it yesterday. Picked up an M1008 that I'll probably be selling along with some of my brother's partial 1008s. Got a bunch more work to do on the dodge and the burb and sell the burb, and the sand rail needs a lot of little stuff too. I...
