Looks like I've secured a take out from an ad on this site. I'll hang onto the old one and rebuild it at my leisure to keep as a "spare" (not unlike my old airpack and master cylinder).

Final Verdict: the gringletaube mod in conjunction with a 2 degree caster shim ended up being the magic bullet for my truck. Drives better now than it ever has!

One of my many dreams that will probably never happen is to have an UAZ 469 with a 4BT/NV4500/D300 drivetrain and a set of Dana 44 axles underneath it.
