Changing caster angle solved problems with G-177 tires

I don't see how its even possible to reinstall the OEM shims in an inverted fashion, at least not on this particular truck (I tried!). This one had alignment pins for the springs installed in a "staggered" formation, with the pin on the axle fitting into the offset hole, and the pin on the...

Changing caster angle solved problems with G-177 tires

Can someone give me the torque value on the U-Bolts for when I go to put it all back together (yes, I'll admit to being too lazy to go rifling through the TMs to find it myself.)

Changing caster angle solved problems with G-177 tires

MikeON's post above, as well as your thread on 'that other forum' convinced me that that is the right thing to do. Planning on working on it today.

Changing caster angle solved problems with G-177 tires

More crazy caster, thanks to G177s Just got ten of 'em put on today. The steering in this truck was nice and tight with the 9.00x20 NDTs. Now it feels like it is all worn out and sloppy. The wheel turns back to center in a very slow and lazy fashion, that is IF you can even get it to do it at...

    republic of korea army m35a2

The engine looks like a knockoff copy of either an Isuzu 6bd1t or 6bg1t. Wonder if it is? Agreed, and I think they should have stuck with these as opposed to the LMTVs, of which I have yet to hear one good thing about.

Official 2012 SS Ga Rally Info thread

If you can get a flight into RDU you can hitch a ride down the rest of the way with me. I was hoping to leave on the 9th, but that's not "set in stone" either. Just thought I'd throw the option out there.

    Who Bought Those Oshkosh MK-48s???

Kinda sounds like the same thing Cabell told me about gensets @ Fort Bragg. If there's only one or two listed in a certain event, they'll go for a good price. But if there's several, a certain NC surplus vendor who shall remain nameless will bid them all up to stupid money and then put them in...

    2012 Ga Rally parts wanted/for sale/swap thread

Ten (10) Titan T-Hawk 9.00x20.00 NDTs, still have plenty of life left in them. They'll be coming off my truck this week in favor of a set of G177s. $35 will get you one tire, tube, and flap, or $300 for all ten. Probably WON'T bring them all unless I get a commitment to purchase beforehand.

Welcome to the group! I had an M38a1 project a few years ago and am now kicking myself for getting rid of it, :( but that's another story.

This engine and associated equipment is already sold, but it's something that I really would have loved to have had, IF my wallet was fat enough, because I may have ridden behind it when I was a kid: For Sale

Supposedly, railroad workers were exempt from the draft, but many of them enlisted anyway. *Disclaimer: This is another one of those "I read somewhere" kinda things, so feel free to take it for what its worth.

Couldn't find any good interior shots of the one @ NCTM. I can say that it's nowhere's near as fancy inside as the one that juanprado posted.

    Just bought my first M35

If he lives in ND it's probably cold enough there to make ice strong enough to support a shanty made out of an M109 box (Watch "Grumpy Old Men" and check out THOSE ice fishing shantys! ;))
