    1971 M35A or 2001 M35A3?? Need opinions!

You do realize that there is no such thing as a 2001 M35A3 don't you? A3s were made from 1993 - 1999 only.

    ATF for M35A3

I think you may bemistaken about 1553 or 1551 being the external transmission filter. I use a NAPA 1268 on my Allison, which is the same number as the one I removed that the Army had installed. I believe 1553 and 1551 have a different threat pattern or at least that is what the NAPA dealer...

    driving without doors?

We had an M35 when I was in the Army that had no doors. It was a parts truck that someone got running and the doors and a lot of other stuff had been robbed. I never drove it, but I rode in it once. No seat belts and it felt like you were about to fall out everytime you went around a curve...

    M149A2 Manifold Valve

Is it necessary to pull the entire valve assembly from the tank or can everything be done leaving the valve housing attached to the tank?

M37 Still Won’t Start – Not Sure What To Look At Next

Start with the basics. 1. Confirm correct valve timing 2. Confirm correct ignition timing 3. Spray starter fluid or gasoline into throat of carburetor while cranking If 1 - 2 are correct, the engine will run if it has fuel. If it runs after #3, you have a fuel problem. Then confirm that...

    ATF for M35A3

According to the TM and Allison both, you don't need to replace the gasket - it is re-usable. However, I would definitely recomend replacing the gasket. If the old one is re-used and leaks, you need to drain and drop the pan again, which is a pain.

    M149A2 Manifold Valve

I have an M149A2 water buffalo, ex-uSMC, that is in excellent condition, but I am having difficulty with the manifold valve. This is a push - pull valve. Pushed all the way in and the water is cut off from the faucet boxes. Pulled out and the water flows through the pipes to the faucet boxes...

    M35A2 question

Welcome to Steel Soldiers! Download and read the manuals. The most important part of your truck is the brakes.

    ATF for M35A3

I changed to Dexron III and the results were very good. Much smoother shifting up and down, no shift hesitation. It was a very good decision for me.

    M35A2 batteries???

If the Optima batteries will fit in the battery box, cable connections are OK, and they have enough CCA, they will work. Optima batteries come in different models. Orbitals are smaller dimension than 6TLs so you would need to secure them.

    M35A2 batteries???

Are you sure the 6TLs have gone bad? I would recommend checking the cable connections and charging system before replacing the batteries. Will the batteries take a charge from a charger?

    cab top reinforcement plate M35A3

I'm jealous. I love the Ma Deuce. I shot a lot of M2s in the Army, mostly turret mounted on M114s and M113s, but some tripod mounted as well. They just feel good when shooting and are actually fairly accurate when shooting singles.
