Well you now have all new hardware that would have needed replacing sometime.

2" spacers. I have them but need to lengthen the stock wheel hub studs so the spacer lug nuts are completely filled with the stud. Right now when I put my spacers on the spacer lug nuts have about a 1/4" of threads showing inside the lug nuts. I will take pics when I can.

Thanks. I checked out your build thread again and saw where you cut them at. I can see now how they would hit since the rear shackles are not a Civi vehicle add on. It should not be a problem to notch them.

Is that the corrected speed or what your speedometer says? A GPS will also show you your true speed. Thanks.

What size tires are you running?

You can order the correct U blots from O.R.D. Off Road Design. Check there site out for other great suspension stuff as well. If you go with the 36" or 37" tires you will need to get the steering box brace. With the big tires and lift the frame holding the steering box likes to crack.

The 36" tires are 30 psi. He has the 37".

You will also need a TH350 adaptor to mount onto the back of the 700R4 that will mate to the NP208. Both the 27 spline output shaft and Th350 adaptor can be had at Advance Adaptors. IF your having the transmission built for you order the 27 spline shaft first and give it to your rebuilder...

You will also need the 27 spline output shaft to mate your NP208. I will have my transmission built and send them the correct 27 spline output shaft so they can build it into the transmission the first time.

The CUCVs came with TH400 that has HD cases. You can see if you have one simply by looking on the top of the transmission just behind the engine. There will be a big HD in raised letters on the case.

You can sell that HD case on Ebay. Rock Crawlers LOVE these cases.

I picked mine up for under 3K and had no real issues other than your typical wear items like vent window locks ect. The transmission wasnt shifting correctly but a .10 cent piece of tubing fixed the air leak and she has shifted perfectly since. I am now into my build $4500 or so and she is...

You can get a great rebuild kit from Monster Transmissions. Whatever you do KEEP your HD th400 transmission case. These are highly sought after for there stronger case compared to a standard th400 case. Good luck and keep us posted.

Im sure its time for an oil change on your Tcase anyway. This would be a great time to do it. As far as running your Tcase in Hi for 70 miles is nothing new. I run my Tcase in 4 Hi all the time during the winter time. I also run it in 4 hi when ever Im off road. Nothing she wasnt designed...
