Got to hook it up and pull something finally ! It actually pulls better than the M52 ( maybe time for a tune up ) . It pulls the M750 easily , I couldn't be happier ! This will be a great truck for what I planned for it . More pics .
My local MVPA branch displayed some of our vehicles at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City , here are a few pics . It rained , it was wet and muddy but I enjoyed the show .
Great idea ! I did it too , it's a cheap alternative . My exterior grade paint from Walmart has lasted about 3 years and is starting to come off , $15 a gallon ! I'll use it again at that price , but maybe a color change is in store for the M52 like my F750 . It's not as durable as automotive...
You are right tmbrwlf , any other info on the truck ? Lots of torque , seems to run pretty good . It does pop out of the highside on the transfer case when warmed up . I just tied the shifter back and it works fine for now . I got it from the auction at less than scrap price and drove it 150...
I've used slime in my 16x20's , 2 years later I have a slow leak in one ( 2 piece rims , rim leak not tire ) . Plus as a bonus it seals when you get a nail or something in them ! I didn't balance any of them just slime , maybe I'm lucky !
RE: Bobtail
It's Walmart exterior grade paint ( OK for metal ), and it's the first time I sprayed it with an airless sprayer for houses . It come out good enough for me , it would have been a lot nicer if I prepped it better and painted it outside . The lighting in the warehouse sucked and not...
RE: Re: RE: Tractor almost done !
It's got a gas V8 5 speed with a 2 speed rear . I got 10 MPG on the way home when I bought it at the auction . Yes I forgot about the ramps them too . It should pull my M127 as easy as the M750 they are about the same weight . The flatbed will have less wind...
I got this at the Manhattan,Ks. auction . It's almost converted back to a tractor , what do you think ? I had glossy on the black , it didn't look good . The flat don't look right either , maybe wrought iron black ? I have the mirror mounts to paint , the cat walk and pogo stick to mount ...
Only required on the front in most states , all the semi's I drive only have front plates . Check your state to be sure . I have no plate on the rear of mine .
