Cheap tires ,free from county ( they put on new ones ) pics .We couldn't find any either . I wondered if the center in the rear wheels could be taken out and turned around to almost center it up to run singles ? Only two of the originals were any good so they got put on the front .

Thanks , it runs and drives great .Only 8,500 miles on it , the forestry guys said the tank the FD had on it wasn't big enough to make it useful . So it sat most of the time . No bondo , rust on back of cab where something rubbed off paint , no holes though .

I was gonna use the chassis for one truck and the body for another , but it ran and drove so nice I hated to take it apart . It'll do 62 mph ! I did find a bridgetruck for parts but high priced ! I'm hoping to bring him down too an affordable amount ( low budget ) . The parts truck has a nice...

I'm not sure if everybody picked up it was a bridge truck . the panels on the back are there from when the FD used it as a tanker , till I make or get a bed . It's wide so a regular bed won't do so I'm still up in the air but it's cool and I think I'll keep it ! Besides you couldn't buy a decent...

RE: SMLS Looks cool !!! I run 50 lbs in my 16x20's on the five ton , you might run even less . I bet you never thought how just changing tires could make such a drastic difference huh ? It has an atitude now !

It really all boils down to what you prefer , I drive a semi so my preference is to something larger . I've driven deuces and though they are neat little trucks , I prefer bigger . Now people that are used to pickups think deuces are huge , try to ride or drive both and then make an educated...

My trucks a 5 ton and the horns air.

My 5 ton's a 1957 and it came that way , later all were on top .

Remember to drive it you'll have to take side roads it wont do 40 mph ! It will also need the outer duals taken off and the mirrors folded in because it's over width .
