Well today was Christmas for me. All of the stuff I ordered all came in at once! More on that later. Included in that bag of goodies were my door locks for my M1028. Since I was going to replace them I thought I would post some pics to show those of you who havent done it how easy and cheap it...
I am looking for a new dash pad. Not a dash cover but a real dash pad. I would take either brown or black. Does anybody have a link to a company that makes one? LMC seems to only have dash covers. Thanks for any help! :beer:
The towing yard should beable to get a lien title. If not walk away from it. California is the hardest state to get any type of titling done without a title. In Nevada I purchased a truck that had a lein title. No issues there. Good Luck. California DMV is a nightmare to deal with. Unless...
My M1028 heater will run you out of the cab! There is no reason why a properly functioning "original style" heater core would not do the same for the M1009.

Rebuild the King Pins. Simple fix. I will be doing it as well even though I dont have the Death Wobble yet. My truck wants to follow grooves and such. Either way you should just rebuild them. Its cheap and then you wont have to worry about it for decades! Get plenty of high end grease as well...
I worked the deal a few weeks ago but didnt feel like posting until I got the truck working 100%. Thats done and in a few weeks I should have new shoes on her.:mrgreen:
Well I found a deal I couldnt pass up. Plus they just look so good. My friend will be picking up the rims and tires sometime next month for me. Here are the pics. The last pic is of the vehicle they came off of.
I second the Engine, trans, tcase, Both axles and all five tires. Then I would yank the bed and doors. Bench seat and all interior items. The bed would make a great companion trailer.
