I see, Thanks for clearing that up for me. But I am curious about one thing thought ? How do you know your trucks "retirement" date ? Is there a place that this info can be researched, or did you get it from the goverment yourself?

Wow.... Thats brilliant! I've been looking for the 4 color patern for thr M880 for a couple of months. I never thought of running off the m715 pattern.
I just re-painted my M880 with the orginal colors but made the pattern up myself... ( I dont really like it but it was my first time painting...
I hear you when you say no one can find the 4 color pattern...... all I could find was what percentages of each color to use. so tell us where you found it?

well I finally got around to dig into my lite problem tonight.....

looks like there has been some " creative wiring " done to the truck,
the orginal wiring does not carry a break signal to the tail lights...and someone ran a wire to the break switch and tapped it in to the brown wires which are for the running lights. ( this is why when I apply the breaks the...

The conections at the alt. look fine, they are not burnt or coroded. and everything there is tight .

I just got the beast on the road and took it in and had the alt. and voltage reg. tested..... They tested ok,
I am still have the jumping alt. gage and now I just noticed that when I but on the breaks the front turn signals come on ( very dim)
any ideas?
