Deuce Insurance Prices - How much do you pay?

Our trucks have been demilitarized and are not military trucks. Once you tell them that. Its out of the question. I told Gieco I have a 1971 AM General M35A2 pick up truck. Do not say two and a half ton or they will direct you to the commercial side and will not insure it. Only get liability...

    Major Meltdown resurrection

Check to make sure your not getting any air in the line. Then make sure your pump is turned on when you hit the accessory switch. Although you have good pressure to the filters, it might not be adequate pressure. Your IP could be stuck closed. If you checked everything else and determine its in...

    Keyed door locks?

Yea.... I get a lot of comments about the lock. The people who notice it ask if it was issued with the truck by the way I did it. How about shaving the door handles and going remote entry for an upgrade?

    Keyed door locks?

Locking door handles do not work. If you twist them hard enough, they will brake. I use the combat lock on the inside of the passenger side door and installed a hockey puck lock on the bottom of the drivers door. I had to fabricate a bracket to adapt the flat plate to contour around the cab but...

    Formal Introduction and a M35

Yep.... It doesn't take much to work on these trucks. Just bigger tools that you can get cheap at harbor freight anyway. You don't need all the pneumatic equipment for these (even though they are very nice to have). Just some big wrenches and a couple breaker bars and your set. A lot of the...

Brakes Won't Release After First Application

I'd bleed them first before tearing anything apart. Its still possible to have something lodged somewhere in that main line for that tandem.

Your trying to pick up on the wrong hobby if your not going to want to work on it and if your next question is going to be "where u can u get a 5yr/60month warranty is" then no ones going to try to help you. Trucks are everywhere. Google it..... $20K is far to much money.

    Formal Introduction and a M35

Every truck breaks... doesn't matter how old or new. There's NEVER a worry free world of trucks. Unless you lease it and have triple A.

    Formal Introduction and a M35

$20K.... THATS INSANE. It better be able to do 140 and drive itself for that.

    Formal Introduction and a M35

Indeed it is. If you can change brakes and do simple tune ups. Then you can work on these trucks. They are very easy to work on and once you get the hang of it. You won't be scared anymore.
