    pretty sure the tailgate shells are. The angle the rear window is, when raised I think is different. I MAY be wrong, but I seem to recall it form somewhere...

    In reference to the original question.... I think the angle above the 'bed sides' is different on the back of a sub vs the back of a blazer. I seem to recall the glass on a tailgate burb and the blazer are different, as well as the tracks in the tailgate. Not saying it cant be done....

    My point above was, if he has what he pictured above, he has a newer style civillian CONTROLLER... not just a solenoid. Its really hard to say how its wired and should work.

    I think 050 is the wellman civvy #, right? If so, have at it. John, I think its easier to change the connector on the wire, than it is on the glow plug.

    Also note, you will have to change the plugs on the wires to do this.

    If you have a 12v system, the 070's will not work for you. Get some AC-60G or equivalent.

    Option 3... leave the blue wire in place, and add your additional one.

    look for the 2A016 engine. I cant recall if its in the TM section here or not. Maybe Kenny will pipe up, he knows that section like the back of his hand.

    #2 GEN LIGHT OUT on my M1009

    Scot, there is a small single pin wire connection that should be plugged on the back of that alternator. Make sure its connected. I cant remember, but I think thats what handles the light on that side.

    You have a civvy controller wired in there. All bets are off as to what your problem might be. You might want to look in the tech article section for some info on how this controller 'should' be wired.

    RE: No "WAIT" light - HELP! Have you checked the fuses? Read the troubleshooting steps in the TM?

    Does the wait light still come on on its own? If so, I would leave it. It gives you a good idea how long to hold the button.
